Meet the heart of The Art of Dance Studio—our incredible instructors. Each member of our teaching team brings passion, experience, and a love for movement into every class, offering instruction in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and more.
From beginners taking their first steps to advanced dancers refining their craft, our instructors are dedicated to building confidence, strong technique, and a lifelong love for dance in a positive and encouraging environment.
NYRI GRAY

Nyri is a dancer and instructor with 16 years of dance experience. She has trained at The Art of Dance for nearly thirteen years in Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Tap. Nyri has been teaching at the studio for almost four years working with dancers ages 3 to 11.
From 2017 to 2020, she danced with the Timberwolve Pups, an experience that strengthened her performance and teamwork skills. Nyri is passionate about being a positive role model and creating a supportive, creative environment for young dancers. She wants her dancers to be themselves and do the best they can, and striving to help every student feel confident on stage, while continuing to grow as a educator.
LINDA GREEN

Linda Green is the Founder and Artistic Director of The Art of Dance, where she has led professional instruction in Brooklyn Park since 2002. A recipient of the 2020 ABF Impact Award, Green is a celebrated mentor whose students have transitioned from local stages like the Minnesota State Fair to global tours with artists such as Beyoncé. Her leadership continues to shape the next generation of elite talent through a diverse curriculum of ballet, jazz, and afro-modern dance.

IYANLA GREEN

Iyanla Green, has been dancing since age 3 under the direction and Instruction of her mother/ founder Linda Green since 2003. Iyanla has training in ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz and technical Jazz, hiphop and basic forms of gymnastics, she has 5 years of competitive dance. Iyanla attended Champlin Park high school where she competed on the Dance team during her junior and senior year. She graduated from university of Minnesota in journalism and is hoping to receive an internship with one of the local tv stations, or would like to start her own podcast being a movie and television critic. Currently , Iyanla teaches the 7 & 8 year old ballet class and private lessons with a Ballet soloist performing for the 2026 dance recital
ANGEL ADAMS

Angel Adams is a passionate dance instructor with 20 years of experience at The Art of Dance, where she has grown both as a dedicated student and an inspiring instructor. Her long-standing connection to the studio reflects her deep love for dance and commitment to the craft. Angel creates a fun, supportive, and high-energy learning environment where dancers of all ages feel confident, encouraged, and empowered. She believes dance is more than movement—it’s discipline, self-expression, and community.
ADRIA EDWARDS

Adria Edwards had been dancing since the age of four. She has been trained in numerous styles of dancing throughout the years. She was a competitive dancer for eight years with Art of Dance Studio (Minneapolis,MN) and 4th Street Dance Centre (White Bear Lake, MN).
She graduated from Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Arts (Saint Paul, MN) in May 2021. She attended the Alivn Ailey summer intensive (Newy York, NY) in 2022, and most recently completed the Alvin Ailey Independent Studies Program (New York, NY) 2023-2024.
