Are you ready to dance? Well our instructors are ready to teach you The Art of Dance. With several years of experience matched with their passion, our instructors are eager to share their knowledge, share their technique and most share their love of dance. Ms. Malia

LEAD INSTRUCTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER

“Miss Malia has been with The Art of Dance since its inception. She grew up here dancing and started teaching when she was 14 years old. She’s trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Afro beats, & Hip Hop. Miss Malia is the lead dance instructor & choreographer, and she is also a Lash technician during the day. Balancing these two jobs are important to her and she works very hard to do so. Her accomplishments as a dancer and teacher speak for themselves and she is very excited to start this new dance season with you all!!”

INSTRUCTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER

Miss Adria started dancing at age 4 with St. Paul schools, then to The Art of Dance at age 6. She competition at age 7 until 2013. She then went to 4th Street Dance Center (4SDC) and did competition there also, she is still a current dancer there. In high school (White Bear Lake) she was on Dance line for 9th and 10th grade. Miss Adria has won numerous awards, Most Improved Dancer (The Art of Dance and 4SDC), Dancer of The Year at The Art of Dance. Judges choice awards including Most Fierce Attack, 1st place, top 5 and numerous Platinum Awards. She also received the High Jumper Award from Dance line for her Russian jumps.

 

Miss Adria is now a senior in high school at St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Arts (SPCPA) where she is enrolled in the dance track, and she does Advance Pointe at 4SDC. She is trained in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop and Tap.

 

This is Miss Adria’s 2nd year teaching at The Art of Dance, she will be teaching Creative movement, Creative Dance and Ballet technique for ages 3 to 10.

INSTRUCTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER

Miss Iyza says that her life purpose is dance. She was lucky enough to discover it before she could even walk and talk. Her journey with cooperative dance started in her early teens, when she joined her first drill team. After mastering competitive dance, she was guided to The Art of Dance Studio. Initially, she thought she’d be a student; but to her surprise she was let to be an instructor. Because of The Art of Dance, she is now fluent in Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Reggae, Ballet, Stepping, House and Zumba. Her favorite style of dance is a mix of Hip Hop, Ballet and Reggae. Dance is the love of her life. She says if you want to meet her passion, come and dance with her.

INSTRUCTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER

Born and raised in Minnesota, Ms. LaTanya began her dance training at age six under her mother Tanya Eubanks. In her fourteen years since beginning her dance journey she has become well versed in many styles and techniques, such as: Praise Dance, Modern, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theater, and Urban Street styles. Upon graduating high school Ms. LaTanya attended Concordia University St. Paul and is now attending and the University of Minnesota pre-professional dance program, pursuing her dance degree. Ms. LaTanya has just entered her second season as a Timberwolves dancer. She is very active in the twin cities community through dance and various other projects such as music videos as well as other projects. This is her first year with The Art of Dance and she’s looking forward to teaching!
